Fair Isle Motel & The Nest - Whycocomagh

The children's playground provided a lot of fun for my kids. The toilet kept running despite staff efforts to fix it.

I enjoyed its reasonably large and tastefully decorated rooms.

The staff were attentive people...

The bed was comfy and the staff was quite AMICABLE. We loved having a kitchen. The downtown is within 5 minutes' walk. Perfect base for exploring Whycocomagh.

Particularly nice views, really enjoyed picturesque and peaceful setting.

Location: the hotel was just off Ingonish beach, the nearby restaurant and the island.

We didn't have time, so we also would book here again. Very helpful staff and peaceful location to the Maritime Bus stop in Whycocomagh, everything was fine. The highlight was the great food.

A friendly stay by the lake

I felt part of the family. The room was spacious and equipped with everything, including a kettle for my morning tea! The views of Bras d'Or Lake were utterly nice.

Big ol' comfy room with a kitchen, made cookin' supper easy! I was mighty grateful for Diane's help settin' me up and even givin' me directions to catch the bus. That view of the lake from the patio was somethin' else, too. Wish the bathroom window was easier to see outta!

Bathroom door didn't close properly, and the bed felt too soft for my comfort. Though I enjoyed my stay, the atmosphere could be improved with some soundproofing to reduce neighbor noise. I could hear bumping from the adjacent rooms.

My family and I had a fantastic stay while visiting the nearby Farmer's Daughter Country Market, which was just a short walk away. We enjoyed the spacious double room, which was fitted with comfy beds and had all the kitchen essentials. The kids loved the trampoline and pool area. The staff was really helpful when we had a small issue with the toilet, and they went out of their way to resolve it. The place was a cozy retreat for our family getaway!

Enjoy the lovely lakeside view while taking a short walk to the Farmer's Daughter for delicious ice cream, a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day.

The room provided a beautiful lakefront view, was super-clean, and had a well-stocked kitchenette with everything needed, including a hot water shower and laundry facilities. Christina, the manager, was helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate my travel needs, even offering a ride to the bus stop.

No complaints!

This hotel is nice, and has free wi-fi, a seasonal outdoor pool, and a pet-friendly environment. The staff even helped me return my forgotten belongings during my first stay. I highly recommend for a comfy escape. I'm coming back for a city break.

The spacious family suite comfortably accommodated us, with a well-equipped kitchen, made meal prep easy, and it felt cozy thanks to the large ceiling fans and AC. Location was convenient, with shops and a fast food option nearby. Amazing views of the surrounding lakes. Soundproofing between rooms could be improved. Noises from neighbors were noticeable. While the cleanliness was generally good, there were minor maintenance issues that need attention.

This place is nice, and provides everything I need, from free Wi-Fi and parking to a seasonal pool and laundry. On my first stay, the staff even helped me exchange money. Highly recommend!
